Two More German Banks Planning Crypto Services Following Sparkasse

Commerzbank, Volks- und Raiffeisenbank are both German universal banks and brands of cooperative banks. They have begun to develop concepts that allow customers to purchase and sell cryptocurrency.

Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, a German liberal-conservative newspaper, announced the news Monday. This follows yesterday’s announcement by Sparkasse that it may launch a cryptocurrency wallet for its clients in 2022. Sparkasse, which is comprised of more than 400 savings banks in Germany, is the market leader. This news could allow for easy access to crypto by combining the efforts of Commerzbanken, Volks- und Raiffeisenbanken, and Sparkasse.
