The Ethereum Foundation Sends 20 000 ETH ($95M) to Kraken

According to Etherscan the Ethereum Foundation sent once more tens of thousand of Ether to Kraken.

The transaction was recorded by Etherscan at 2:56 UTC. It shows that an Ethereum developer sent a contract worth 20 000 Ether directly to Kraken’s public address. At today’s prices, that’s more than $95 million. A similar transaction was made on May 17th when another developer sent 35 000 Ether. These Ether were worth $112 Million at the time. The Ethereum Foundation is a non profit organization that supports Ethereum developers. They offer both financial and non-financial assistance to the wider ecosystem. In the past, they have sold Ether to help pay for it. Ethereum is currently trading at $4 700. Citadel’s CEO considers it superior than Bitcoin.
