The Canadian Company That Bought $1.5M SHIB Now Vows to Sue Shiba Inu Team

Healthcare services company “Ask The Doctor” has added 31 billion Shiba Inu tokens (SHIB), to its balance sheet. The company’s support for the memecoin didn’t last long.

According to “Ask the Doctor”, Shiba Inu founders have not disclosed their identities, indicating that the project is a fraud. They even promised to go to court.

From Approval to Denial

The Toronto-based telehealth company “Ask Doctor” looked like a crypto-friendly entity, which supports many digital assets. It purchased 31 billion Shiba Inu tokens, worth approximately $1.5 million at the time.

The company also owns Bitcoin (BTC), Ether(ETH), Cardano [ADA], Polkadot (“DOT”), Polygon (“MATIC”), Dogecoin („DOGE”) and Floki Inu (“FLOKI”). The team stated that technology is constantly changing and that they believe it is necessary to keep up with the times.

Today, December 21, saw an unexpected twist in events. “Ask The Doctor” pulled its support for Shiba Iu. They described the memecoin scam as Shytoshi Kusama, the other founders, had not disclosed their identities. Accordingly, the Canadian company claimed it had “officially removed SHIB from” its balance sheet.

Why is @ShytoshiKusaman’t revealing his identity? It’s easier for scammers hide from law enforcement and people who want to pursue you. $shib scam #shibarmy. The 1% who is real is brainwashed, and the rest are bots.

“Ask The Doctor” posted many tweets about Shiba Inu and launched a bashing manifest in the hours that followed. One of the emails revealed that the company had sent emails to top cryptocurrency exchanges such as Binance, Kraken and CryptoCom in an effort to remove the Dogecoin murderer from their platforms.

Even the healthcare company claimed that Squid Game’s creators had “laundered” some fraud proceeds by buying Shiba Inu tokens.

The surprising change in heart is not surprising, as “Ask The Doctor”, who has advocated for memecoins in previous months, is now a supporter.

It was made possible for users to use Dogecoin (DOGE), to pay for medical care in November. The firm asked the community to vote in favor of expanding cryptocurrency offerings and allowing Shiba Inu and Floki Inu to be used as payment methods. The overwhelming majority of poll participants voted for the extension of cryptocurrency offerings, with “Ask Doctor” tweeting:

“Looks like we need to add SHIB […] We live in the memes!”

It is worth noting that Ask The Doctor was aware that Shiba’s team was anonymous at the time they purchased $1.5 million of SHIB.

Shiba Inu is Spreading Globally

Despite the legal battle that might have started with “Ask the Doctor”, Shiba Inu continues to grow in recent months.

Bitstamp, a digital asset trading platform based in Luxembourg, allowed its users to trade SHIB against US dollars and euro a few weeks ago.

The Spanish cryptocurrency exchange Bit2Me and Unocoin, an Indian platform, listed the memcoin shortly after. They cited increased customer interest as the reason.
