Revolut, a financial app that is available worldwide, has joined the growing number of companies supporting cryptocurrency education through “Learn and Earn”. This concept rewards users who learn about important topics in blockchain technology with crypto.
Revolut Partners Polkadot Launches “Learn and Earn”
Revolut, which is valued at $33billion, shared a press release with CryptoPotato stating that the feature is now available to all customers and that they can earn $15 by completing the courses or passing the final quiz.
British Neobank noted that the feature was launched in collaboration with Web3 Foundation, founder of multichain network Polkadot. The reward will be distributed in DOT, Polkadot’s native cryptocurrency.
Revolut stated that it currently offers two courses. The first covers fundamental concepts of cryptocurrencies and the underlying blockchain technology. The second explains the differences between cryptocurrency, fiat currency, and the risks associated to the crypto market.
The second is about Polkdadot, how it “unites Blockchains into Web3”, and also covers DOT and Polkadot’s uses cases and key features of the network such as governance, Relay Chain, and other important features.
The UK-based platform for banking said that it will continue to grow its Learn and Earn program and add more courses to improve crypto education and financial literacy.
Our customers are eager to learn more about cryptocurrency. ‘Learn & earn’ will enable them to better understand the risks, trends and opportunities that come with crypto. Revolut’s Crypto General Manager Emil Urmashin said that the collaboration with Web3 Foundation, Polkadot (one of the most well-known blockchain networks), will allow customers to become more familiarized with crypto concepts.
Revolut Loves Crypto
This isn’t Revolut’s first venture into the crypto market. Revolut’s involvement with cryptocurrency began in 2017, when it listed Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin as trading options.
Revolut added support for Bitcoin Cash, and XRP to its crypto list in 2018. The financial app added 11 more cryptocurrencies to its list last year, increasing its total crypto offerings by more than 20.
