StarkWare recently conducted a poll and found that 53% of participants consider cryptocurrency the “future” of finance. 68% of them believe in it.
The latest figures on Crypto’s integration among Americans
StarkWare, a blockchain-based entity, surveyed 2,000 Americans of all ages to get their opinions on crypto and the future. According to the results, 53% believe that the asset class is the “future” of finance.
This percentage is 68% for the 25-34 age group and 61% for the 35-44 year olds. It is clear that younger people have a greater sensitivity to the industry than older generations.
17% of participants also admitted to having invested in cryptocurrency. Most of the participants are constantly monitoring and changing their holdings. 82% of respondents said they had at least one cryptocurrency tracker on their smartphone, and 50% said that they “fiddle with or modify” their possessions every day. Only 14% let a week go by without making any changes.
Eli Ben-Sasson, Co-Founder and President StarkWare Industries, commented on the matter:
This poll shows just how widespread crypto is, while also indicating how big it will soon be. It is clear that crypto is a popular choice for young Americans. It is a significant insight that these young Americans are investing large amounts and are overwhelmingly convinced that crypto will be “the next big thing.”
To mark the launch StarkNet, the company requested the survey. This platform aims to eliminate some barriers when dealing digital assets and create blockchain applications.
StarkWare CEO and Co-Founder Uri Kolodny stated that crypto is a popular topic. He said that “blockchain will not be able to deal with growing demand” unless the industry’s people work “smarter”.
Cryptocurrency Awareness is Increasingly Popular in America
While the USA is a major player in cryptocurrency, most Americans have at least some knowledge about digital assets. Another research, conducted in November 2021, found that 62% of 10,000 participants had basic knowledge about the subject. 24% claimed to have a good understanding. Only 13% of the 10,000 participants admitted that they had never heard of bitcoin, ether or any other coin.
Further, the poll revealed that 16% of crypto investors were actually present back in 2016. The most active segment of the sector is the 18-29 year old males. 43% have used, traded or invested in digital assets.
