Kanye Omari West (also known as Ye) is a rapper, producer and fashion designer from America. He strongly opposes non-fungible tokens. According to him, the only items that are important are those found in the real world.
NFTs are not for me
Non-fungible tokens were a fascinating niche that many singers, athletes, and celebrities explored in 2021. Eminem was one of these examples. He recently launched his digital collection. Quentin Tarantino also auctioned seven NFTs from “Pulp Fiction” and many other celebrities.
Kanye West, a well-known rapper and one the most influential artists, isn’t keen to see the cryptocurrency industry. In an Instagram post, Kanye West urged his followers to stop asking him to “do NFTs”. He stated that he wants products built for the “real world” rather than the digital one.
West did add a note at the end of his speech that read “Ask me later,” suggesting that he may not have closed the door on the NFT realm completely.
The American singer revealed not long ago that he was working on his new album, “Donda 2”, which will be released on February 22. At the moment, crypto collectors who want to own an NFT copy of the album won’t have this opportunity.

Joe Rogan regards NFTs as a “Hustle”
Joe Rogan, a comedian, commentator and podcast host, also spoke out against non-fungible tokens in September 2013. He claimed that the concept of non-fungible tokens is confusing and that they are a problem in the digital asset market.
It’s a strange hustle. It’s almost like a cryptocurrency hustle. It makes no sense to me.”
Rogan wondered why so many people would be so fascinated by the idea of spending a lot on digital art when they can get it free.
“Here’s my problem. I can have the photo and it can be on my phone.
Reggie Watts was invited to his show by the American a few months prior to this statement. He tried to explain non-fungible tokens and how people can interact with them. Rogan said that he understood less of the discussion after it.
