After the $105 million Series A funding round, Talos’s valuation reached $1.25 Billion. This was led by General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm. Stripes, BNY Mellon and Citi are some of the other investors.

According to the firm’s press release Talos, a trading infrastructure company that offers crypto services to institutions, stated that the new round will allow Talos to scale and diversify its digital asset platform for institutional-grade and help accelerate expansion into APAC, Europe, and the Middle East.
This announcement was made in the wake of rapid growth of the unicorn, with institutional trading volumes increasing by more than 20x year-overyear and its end user base exceeding 20 million as of 2022. The company has seen a 400% increase in its revenue over the past year and offers opportunities in New York City, London, Sweden, Singapore, and Sweden.
Anton Katz, CEO of Talos, stated that “digital assets infrastructure” will have a large-scale impact on all financial industries. He also predicted that traditional asset classes would eventually shift into the crypto space. According to reports, Katz stated that the firm doesn’t plan on going public anytime soon.
Talos is a trading platform that targets institutional clients. It offers services that support the entire trade lifecycle, including settlement and trading via one point of access. Aaron Goldman, General Atlantic’s Managing Director and Cohead of Financial Services, said that Talos’s solutions can be used to trade cryptocurrencies and bridge assets, from CeFi through DeFi.

In 2021, $40M Series A Round
The crypto company was founded in 2018 and raised $40 million in a Series B round from Andreessen Horowitz, PayPal Ventures (a16z), Castle Island Ventures, Fidelity Investments and Castle Island Ventures.
The release stated that previous investors will continue to be partners with Talos through the new fund and that the firm will take advantage of this opportunity for global expansion and product development.
